Bandon Hill were lucky enough to be visited by the illustrator Gary Parsons today. They attended an amazing assembly this morning and then workshops throughout the day. We discovered that drawing is magic!

Nursery enjoyed exploring vegetables today. We then made a delicious soup with them which the children took home to try

This week Reception are learning about trains and other transport on tracks. The children worked together to build a huge train track that went around the whole classroom! We have also made transport pictures and completed some super writing.

Illustrator Gary Parsons will be visiting this Wednesday, 4th March. If your child has a book at home that he has illustrated, please feel free to send it in with your child and Gary will be delighted to sign it. A limited number of additional copies of his books will also be available to buy on the day. Travel Twins books £7 each, Dragonsitter and Dragonsitter Detective books £5 each. If you would like your child to purchase one, please send the money in a sealed envelope clearly labelled with your child's name and class. Books will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last.
